Mike Moran started his legal career as an award-winning Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorney's Office in Jacksonville where Mike was a prosecutor from 1996 to 2001. In 2000, he won the 10th Annual Jury Trial Award at the State Attorney's Office by trying 24 solo felony jury trials in one calendar year with a conviction rate of almost 100%. In 2001, he left the State Attorney's Office to practice personal injury law and to use his courtroom trial experience to fight for justice for personal injury and wrongful death clients.
Since 2001, Mr. Moran has specialized in personal injury and wrongful death cases, including auto negligence cases, tractor-trailer negligence cases, motorcycle accident cases, premises liability negligence cases, negligent security cases, product liability and medical malpractice cases.
Mr. Moran has achieved numerous jury verdicts as the lead trial attorney with multiple million dollar verdicts, and Mike was the lead attorney for the largest personal injury verdict in the history of Baker County, Florida, a $9.4 million verdict.
Mr. Moran is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney, an honor and distinction which is attained by less than 2% of all attorneys practicing in the State of Florida. This certification is the highest level of recognition by the Florida Bar in the area of Civil Trial Litigation.
Mr. Moran is rated "AV-Preeminent" by Martindale-Hubbell, a peer review attorney evaluation service which is the oldest attorney rating service in the United States. An “AV-Preeminent” designation is the highest available and is “a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence."
Mr. Moran is happily married to his wife, Judy, and they have two sons. When Mike is not in the courtroom fighting for justice for his clients, he spends his time with his family and coaching his sons in youth travel baseball.
